Label Art was founded in 1981 by Billy Browne, who is accredited with introducing self–adhesive labels to Ireland. From it’s inception, the company enjoyed impressive growth due to it’s commitment to providing a top class service and quality. 8 years later Label Art was acquired by the Oakhill Group.

In June 2004 an MBO led by John Browne, son of the original owner, and the Finance Director Donal Healy, returned the company to private ownership.

The company, now celebrating its 25th year in business, continues to be a market leader supplying creative and innovative labeling solutions to the market.

In keeping with its policy of being a progressive and innovative company, Label Art has invested over 1 million €uro in Irelands first digital label press.
